Rivers of Fire

Isn’t a sign of the apocalypse (for the bible thumping climate deniers out there) that water will catch fire or something?

Well, we just celebrated the 1 year anniversary of the fire that destroyed Slave LAKE, AB and currently citizens of Kirkland LAKE, ON are at risk of being burned out.

I mean, if lakes of fire aren’t a climate concern, they must be worrisome on a sort of biblical scale n’est pas?

This is why “streamlined environmental review” doesn’t make sense. It may accelerate the creation of extraction jobs and stimulate the fake, Dutch Disease infested economy but the legacy will cost Canadians dearly.

Of course, Harper is getting in and fucking with as much shit as he can lickity split. I’m sure his intention is to do as much damage as possible so as to never be re-elected and dealing with the fall out of these short sighted and irresponsible decisions will be left to someone else.

You.
